THE SERENITY PRAYER
"God grant me the
Serenity
to
accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the
things I can, and...
the
Wisdom to
know the
difference."

THE GESTALT PRAYER
"I
do my thing, and you do your thing.
I am not in this world to live up to your
expectations,
and you are not in this world to live up to mine.
You are you, and I am me.
If by chance we meet, it's beautiful.
If not, it can't be helped."
- Fritz Perls. MD
"Go within,
or go without"
-
Neale Walsch
One evening an old
Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He
said, "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all. One is
Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance,
self-pity, guilt, worry, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride,
superiority, and ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope,
serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, humor, generosity,
truth, compassion and faith.
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his
grandfather:"Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

for the sake of order in greater things;
Therefore, be content
to be discontent in many things."

Look to This Day
Look to this day, for it is life, the very
life of life.
In its brief course lie all the realities
and verities of existence.
The bliss of growth, the splendor of
action, the glory of power.
And yesterday is but a dream, and tomorrow
is only a vision.
But today - well lived - makes every
yesterday
a dream of happiness,
and every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Look well, therefore, to this day.
- Sanskrit proverb
The
Prayer For Protection
The light of God surrounds us
The love of God enfolds us
The power of God protects us
The presence of God watches over us
Wherever we are - God is!
