Stepparent and Stepchild are two of up to 15 alien roles that typical stepfamily members need to evolve and stabilize, with little experience or informed help. These roles and relationships evolve in a complex web of many other dynamic relationships and special family-adjustment tasks. Co-parent Projects 9 and 10 are about merging biofamilies and stabilizing high-nurturance stepfamily roles and relationships over time.
